Job Summary
Leading the development of innovative pricing models, the full-time Lead Actuarial Data Scientist will enhance pricing sophistication for personal auto and homeowners insurance products while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement new rating plans for personal auto and home insurance products
- Build and refine pricing models using GLMs and machine learning techniques to improve risk segmentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing strategies and mentor junior team members
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; FCAS or ACAS designation preferred
- 8+ years of experience in actuarial, data science, or related technical roles
- 5+ years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry
- Advanced proficiency in predictive modeling techniques and strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with AI-assisted coding and leading complex technical analyses independently
