Lead AI & Data Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the AI and data platform infrastructure, the full-time Lead AI & Data Platform Engineer will design, build, and optimize production systems for a remote marketplace, focusing on data architecture, event tracking, AI automation, and personalized marketing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and manage the central data warehouse, ensuring data quality and reliability for product and marketing insights
- Design and implement event tracking and behavioral datasets to support advanced analytics and lifecycle automation
- Build and optimize AI workflows for personalized content, seller onboarding, and operational automation
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or AI engineering
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in building production data pipelines
