Lead AI Data Scientist

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time salaried Lead AI Data Scientist to define and implement Trustwell's AI strategy remotely, focusing on operationalizing AI capabilities, establishing governance practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product value and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the applied AI strategy across product, engineering, data, and internal operations
• Lead implementation of AI capabilities that are practical, measurable, and aligned with business outcomes
• Establish AI governance practices, including usage policies and ongoing monitoring

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or related technical fields with a focus on applied AI initiatives
• Direct experience establishing AI governance and evaluation processes within an organization
• Hands-on experience implementing AI or machine learning capabilities in production environments
• Strong understanding of modern AI technologies, including LLMs and agentic workflows
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
