Lead AI Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead AI Engineer to serve as the technical authority for AI workstreams during a major merger in the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the deployment of distributed AI systems and Enterprise RAG Patterns
• Lead the implementation of Cost Governance and Data Governance protocols to protect PII
• Establish AI Evaluation Frameworks to benchmark model accuracy and compliance with banking standards

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Distributed System Design and high-scale AI infrastructure
• Hands-on expertise in RAG Architecture Patterns
• Proven track record in AI Data Governance and cost-control frameworks
• Deep familiarity with programmatic AI evaluation and automated testing for LLMs
• Strategic knowledge of performance/cost tradeoffs in LLMs and data flow management
