Lead AI Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead AI Engineer to architect and operationalize AI systems that drive enterprise impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary AI engineering partner to the CEO and executive leadership team, translating ideas into production-ready AI workflows
• Independently take ideas from concept to production, designing system architecture and implementing code
• Design and implement complex, multi-step agentic workflows and operationalize AI responsibly with proper guardrails

Required Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of professional software engineering experience in cloud environments
• Proven experience building and deploying AI-powered systems in production
• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python or TypeScript
• Deep engineering discipline across clean architecture, distributed systems, and production observability
• Experience partnering with senior or executive stakeholders to translate ideas into scalable solutions
