Lead AI Engineer

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing AI engineering team, the full-time Lead AI Engineer will architect and deliver production-grade AI solutions while mentoring engineers and setting engineering standards in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop an AI engineering team while establishing engineering standards across multiple client engagements
• Translate complex AI concepts into clear, practical direction for business and technical audiences
• Act as a trusted advisor in shaping AI roadmaps, solution design, and delivery approaches

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentoring role
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, LLM applications, and AI microservices
• Familiarity with tools such as LangChain, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Docker, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Understanding of MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD, and AI observability
• Proven experience in mentoring or leading engineering teams
