Lead AI Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the development of internal AI systems, the full-time Lead AI Engineer will architect and implement AI tooling, drive adoption across the organization, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance AI literacy in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and development of internal AI systems, including writing code and defining reference architectures
- Partner with business and executive stakeholders to elicit requirements and ensure successful delivery and acceptance of AI projects
- Recruit and manage a network of AI champions to facilitate adoption and create a culture of AI literacy within the company
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including production LLM systems
- Deep hands-on proficiency in Python and cloud-native AWS development
- Strong analytical skills with experience in defining adoption metrics and reporting to executives
- Demonstrated success in driving organization-wide behavior change and managing communities of practice
- Comfort working cross-functionally with various departments including engineering, legal, and business leadership
