Lead AI Engineer
Job Summary
As the foremost technical authority on artificial intelligence strategy and architecture, the full-time Lead AI Engineer will define the AI engineering roadmap, make critical build vs. buy decisions for AI systems, and collaborate cross-functionally to align AI capabilities with business outcomes in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the AI engineering roadmap and architecture standards across the organization
- Architect AI solutions for the enterprise platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and integration with existing systems
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to align AI initiatives with business objectives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with significant exposure to production AI/ML or LLM/GenAI systems
- 2+ years of experience building production LLM/GenAI systems and familiarity with AI-assisted coding tooling
- Demonstrated ability to redesign business processes with AI at the core within an enterprise environment
- Proficiency in Python and modern GenAI application stacks, along with strong communication skills for presenting technical decisions
