Lead AI/Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Leading a cross-functional development team, the full-time Lead AI/Machine Learning Engineer will architect and oversee the creation of an enterprise-grade Agent Development Platform, ensuring technical integrity and safety while driving hands-on development and team leadership in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the architecture decision process and evaluation strategy for the AI track, ensuring accountability for the integrity of technical decisions
• Lead hands-on development of high-risk components and establish a production-ready foundation for agent delivery
• Grow and mentor the AI engineering team, designing operational models to enhance delivery efficiency and technical standards

Required qualifications:

• 12+ years in software/AI engineering with 3+ years in production LLM-powered systems, including agentic platforms
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and experience with production agent frameworks like LangGraph or Claude Agent SDK
• Demonstrated ability in designing evaluation systems for AI releases and defending metrics to stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with AI security measures, including prompt-injection defense and adversarial testing
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams through complex, milestone-driven projects
