Lead AI/ML Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design and deployment of scalable healthcare solutions, the full-time remote Lead AI/ML Engineer will focus on integrating modern Java/Spring Boot microservices and AI capabilities to enhance healthcare delivery and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges
- Architect and maintain enterprise RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Implement healthcare interoperability standards across various domains, leveraging enterprise-approved AI tools
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with microservices and RESTful APIs using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot
- 5+ years of experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) using Spring Data JPA or Hibernate
- 3+ years of experience with event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka
- 3+ years of experience deploying solutions in cloud environments (AWS or Azure) using Docker and Kubernetes
- 2+ years of experience building or leveraging enterprise AI tools to optimize workflows
