Lead AI Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the development of advanced AI and machine learning solutions, the full-time remote Lead AI Software Engineer will design, develop, and deploy production-grade systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to address complex challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and deploys production-grade AI/ML systems that meet performance and scalability requirements
• Leads AI/ML project workstreams independently, coordinating with stakeholders across Product, Data, and Infrastructure teams
• Mentors and coaches other engineers and cross-functional peers, reviewing code and promoting technical growth

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 4 years of experience in software engineering, including 2 years in AI/ML
• Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX
• Experience deploying models in production using cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure)
• Familiarity with MLOps practices, including model versioning, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines
