Job Summary
To support the modernization of forecasting capabilities, the full-time remote Lead Analyst, Energy Forecasting will manage model development, data engineering, and advanced analytics to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of power system outlooks.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain capacity expansion and production cost models, along with scenario analysis frameworks
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring the cleaning and validation of large datasets for modeling use
- Implement automation for forecasting processes and develop analytical tools using programming languages such as Python or R
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, data science, economics, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in energy analytics, forecasting, or advanced analytics
- Strong proficiency in analytical tools and programming languages like Python, R, or Julia
- Experience working with large datasets and analytical workflows
- Demonstrated experience applying AI and advanced analytics in market analysis or forecasting
