Lead Analyst, Transaction Monitoring

Job Summary

To support GoFundMe's global financial crime program, the full-time remote Lead Analyst, Transaction Monitoring will conduct complex investigations into transactions and customer behavior, identify suspicious activity, and enhance transaction monitoring controls.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate complex financial crime typologies by analyzing transaction activity and customer behavior
• Lead investigations into suspicious donations and fundraisers, assessing the need for internal escalation
• Provide mentorship and quality assurance for Transaction Monitoring Analysts, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in financial crime investigations or transaction monitoring
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and transaction monitoring systems
• In-depth understanding of AML and ATF legislation
• Experience in conducting complex investigations involving financial crimes
