Lead Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the SQL and dbt layer for data quality and analytical modeling, the full-time Lead Analytics Engineer will work remotely to transform raw clinical and claims data into trusted datasets while ensuring data integrity and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Author and maintain dbt models while troubleshooting and optimizing SQL performance
• Triage data quality alerts and design systematic validation checks to ensure data integrity
• Lead data quality reviews and collaborate with Data Engineering on root-cause analysis for data issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Economics, or a related field
• Advanced SQL skills including window functions and performance tuning on columnar databases
• Hands-on experience with dbt, including model authoring and testing
• Working knowledge of healthcare data, particularly claims and clinical data
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
