Lead Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Lead Analytics Engineer, the candidate will design end-to-end data solutions, influence data architecture standards, and mentor team members while ensuring the health of data systems and driving business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver production-ready, testable, maintainable code for data solutions
• Influence and evolve data architecture standards through research, testing, and implementation of best practices
• Mentor analytics engineers and analysts, providing targeted feedback and enabling knowledge sharing

Required qualifications

• 7+ years in analytics engineering or a related data role with end-to-end technical ownership
• Expert SQL skills, capable of handling performance at scale and edge cases
• Advanced knowledge of dbt, including team practices around testing and documentation
• Proven experience in making impactful data architecture decisions
• Deep understanding of ELT/ETL processes with strong instincts for observability and failure recovery
