Lead Analytics Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the transformation of investment data, the full-time Lead Analytics Engineer will design and maintain scalable data models and cloud-native architectures while serving as a subject matter expert for asset and actuarial data, supporting Finance and Investment Management teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data models and curated datasets for Finance, Investment Management, and Actuarial teams
- Lead the migration of investment data from legacy platforms to a modern cloud-based data ecosystem, ensuring quality and accessibility
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices in data engineering across the analytics community
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 8-10 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related data-focused roles
- Advanced expertise in SQL, Python, data modeling, and cloud data architecture
- Experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Amazon Redshift
- Strong understanding of investment management and actuarial analytics
