Lead Appian Developer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Lead Appian Developer will design and implement new features using the Appian low-code platform, collaborate with Agile teams, and mentor junior developers while ensuring customer success through innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Envision, design, and implement new features based on the prioritized product backlog using the Appian platform
• Participate in Agile meetings, including User Story grooming, Sprint Planning, and retrospectives, while providing estimates for upcoming sprints
• Conduct unit testing of developed features and peer reviews of code to ensure quality and functionality meet end-user needs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or other IT-related degree
• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government's Public Trust security clearance
• At least 4 years of experience in designing and implementing digital solutions using Appian
• Strong development and debugging skills in Appian, with experience in recent versions (18.x or later)
• Good understanding of data concepts (SQL, Databases) and business workflows
