Lead Application Development Engineer

Job Summary

To support a dynamic healthcare enterprise, the remote contract Lead Application Development Engineer will design, develop, and implement complex software solutions while collaborating with technical and non-technical teams to ensure successful application delivery and support.

Key responsibilities

• Leads end-to-end application product development and ensures integration of multiple services to meet business needs
• Collaborates with Enterprise Architecture and operational teams to create testing and implementation strategies
• Oversees tier 3 application support, including upgrades, patches, and risk evaluation activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science)
• 5 - 7 years of related experience in application development and support
• Experience with Change Management and Enterprise Architecture
• Demonstrated project management skills and technical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with upper management
