Lead Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Application Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the security of all technologies, protocols, and products developed by the team, identifying potential attack vectors
• Establish overall security objectives and lead planning and execution to achieve them
• Coordinate with the engineering team to establish best security practices in software development cycles

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in hands-on security analysis and vulnerability discovery for blockchains or DeFi protocols
• Good understanding of smart contract languages and their semantics
• Good understanding of operational security and security best practices
• A track record in identifying past critical vulnerabilities is a strong plus
