Lead Applied Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Applied Scientist to work on advanced GenAI and machine learning systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy neuro-symbolic AI systems integrating neural learning with structured knowledge
• Build multi-modal models synthesizing insights across various data types
• Lead end-to-end research deliverables from ideation to production deployment

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related field (or Master's with equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of experience building production IR/NLP systems with demonstrated business impact
• Strong software engineering skills with experience in production code and MLOps
• Expertise in neuro-symbolic AI architectures and multi-modal modeling
• Familiarity with emergent intelligence in GenAI and machine learning agents
