Lead Applied Scientist

Job Summary

To support the innovative Agentforce Operations team, the full-time remote Lead Applied Scientist will design and implement deep learning models, prototype new architectures for enterprise data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into production-ready features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and train novel deep learning models on large-scale GPU clusters
• Prototype new architectures and algorithms for various types of enterprise data
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to convert research into functional features

Required qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field with an AI/ML research focus
• Experience developing, deploying, and evaluating machine learning models in production or research environments
• Deep understanding of transformer architectures and advanced retrieval mechanisms
• Production-grade Python skills, including experience with frameworks like PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow
• Experience training large-scale models across distributed GPU clusters using tools like DeepSpeed or TorchTitan
