Lead Automation Test Engineer

Job Summary

Leading a team of automation engineers, the contract Lead Automation Test Engineer will work remotely to design, develop, and execute complex automated test scripts while ensuring code quality and participating in Agile Scrum processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop automated test scripts and frameworks, refining acceptance criteria into automated test cases
• Execute tests during sprint cycles, log defects, and follow QA test processes while collaborating with the Scrum team
• Mentor junior engineers and advocate for test automation best practices across the engineering organization

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field
• 5-7+ years of experience in test automation, CI/CD, and manual testing
• Proficiency in SQL, ETL, Teradata, and Snowflakes
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting languages
• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments
