Lead Azure Architect
Job Summary
Leading the design and implementation of secure Azure cloud solutions, the full-time Lead Azure Architect will provide technical leadership and hands-on support in a hybrid remote environment, focusing on architecture, migration planning, and networking integrations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design of end-to-end Azure architecture, producing detailed diagrams and technical documentation
- Conduct migration planning and execution using Azure Site Recovery, overseeing dependency mapping and failover testing
- Serve as the point of contact for Azure networking issues, guiding architecture decisions and advising on technical direction
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of related experience, with at least 5+ years in database and data management
- 5+ years of experience in Azure IL5/IL6 environments
- CompTIA Security+ certification required for DoD 8570.01M compliance
- Extensive knowledge of Azure network design and Microsoft Entra architecture
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
