Lead Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Backend Software Engineer to help build and scale systems for member experience and internal operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and evolve backend services for healthcare products and workflows
• Lead technical execution across product teams by shaping architecture and setting standards
• Design systems focused on reliability, scalability, and performance while collaborating with Product and Design teams

Required Qualifications

• Senior or Staff-level backend engineering experience with a proven track record
• Deep experience in Go or Kotlin, ideally 3+ years
• Strong infrastructure and DevOps experience in AWS or GCP, ideally 4+ years
• Experience running production workloads on Kubernetes, ideally 2+ years
• Product-minded approach with a focus on outcomes and user impact
