Lead Backend Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of AI-powered solutions, the fully remote Lead Backend Engineer will design and build scalable backend systems, integrate advanced technologies, and collaborate with Data Science teams to transition machine learning models into production.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend systems for AI-driven products and services
- Deploy and integrate technologies such as LLMs, generative AI, and predictive models
- Lead technical initiatives from architecture and design through to implementation and deployment
Required qualifications
- 15+ years of software engineering experience
- Deep expertise in backend development with Java
- Experience designing and supporting large-scale SaaS or enterprise platforms
- Track record of delivering AI or machine learning solutions into production environments
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
