Lead Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Software Engineer - Backend with expertise in Python, Typescript, Big Data, AWS, and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and scale features for REST APIs and large-scale data processing pipelines
• Architect and optimize backend services for high throughput and low-latency performance
• Mentor developers and automate deployments using Terraform, Serverless Framework, and Kubernetes

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend or full-stack engineering experience with a strong backend focus
• 7+ years of hands-on Python experience, particularly in automation and large-scale data pipelines
• 3+ years working with Typescript / Node.js
• Advanced experience with AWS services
• Proven experience with large datasets and distributed computing frameworks like Spark and Kafka
