Lead Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Backend Software Engineer to help build and scale backend systems for healthcare products.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and evolve backend services for member-facing workflows and internal tooling
• Lead technical execution by shaping architecture and providing guidance across teams
• Design reliable and scalable systems while collaborating with Product and Design teams

Required Qualifications

• Senior or Staff-level backend engineering experience with a history of shipping production systems
• Deep experience in Go or Kotlin, ideally 3+ years
• Strong infrastructure and DevOps experience in AWS or GCP, ideally 4+ years
• Experience running production workloads on Kubernetes, ideally 2+ years
• Product-minded approach with an understanding of user impact and outcomes
