Lead Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Software Engineer (Backend).

Key Responsibilities

• Own delivery for significant features or systems, including clarifying requirements and executing solutions
• Design and build scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines to support core product functionality
• Mentor engineers and influence engineering best practices and architecture decisions

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of overall experience in software engineering
• 3+ years of experience building and shipping production systems in product teams
• 5+ years of hands-on coding experience, particularly in Python and/or TypeScript
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD processes
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
