Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Bioinformatics Scientist.

Key Responsibilities:

Innovate, develop, validate, and benchmark new algorithms for DNA sequencing data
Collaborate with bench scientists to evaluate novel assay technologies
Develop and optimize analysis pipelines for diagnostic tests

Required Qualifications:

PhD in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Biostatistics, or related field with 5 years of experience, or MS with 10 years of experience
Knowledge of genomics and NGS analyses
Solid programming skills in Java, C/C++, and/or Python
Experience with cloud computing and workflow management tools
Experience with Linux command-line tools and relational databases
