Lead Bioinformatics Scientist

Job Summary

Seeking a remote full-time Lead Bioinformatics Scientist, this position will manage the development of innovative bioinformatics solutions, collaborate with R&D teams, and perform sophisticated analyses of genomic datasets to support diagnostic testing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborates with R&D scientists to develop new assays and measurement technologies
• Performs complex analyses of genomic, transcriptomic, or proteomic datasets using advanced bioinformatics tools
• Develops and optimizes analysis pipelines and bioinformatics algorithms for clinical applications

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. in bioinformatics, computational biology, genetics, or computer science
• 3 or more years of experience in biotechnology
• 5 or more years of experience in programming languages relevant to bioinformatics, such as Python, R, Perl, or Java
