Lead Business Intelligence Developer

Job Summary

As the founding Lead Business Intelligence Developer, the full-time remote position will define and build the company's reporting and analytics framework, focusing on Power BI models, metric definitions, and provider-facing reporting, while collaborating closely with revenue cycle teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end semantic layer, creating Power BI models on Databricks and Fabric for performance and trust
• Define and standardize key metrics such as AR days and denial rates to ensure consistent reporting across teams and clients
• Build engaging and reliable provider-facing reports and internal analytics to support operational efficiency and automation measurement

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in BI/analytics with strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, and semantic modeling
• Experience with healthcare claims and payer data, including familiarity with 835/837 transactions
• Proficient in SQL and experienced with lakehouse or modern warehouse technologies like Databricks or Fabric
• Proven track record of developing reporting relied upon by external clients or executives
• Experience in revenue cycle operations or building a BI function is a plus
