Lead Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Lead Business Systems Analyst will evaluate current operations, identify gaps against industry best practices, and develop actionable plans to drive modernization and process improvement while providing strategic technical guidance to project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Document existing business operations, workflows, and technical practices across applications and infrastructure
• Analyze current processes against recognized industry and IT best practices, identifying opportunities for improvement
• Develop Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to guide the evolution of systems, processes, and operational maturity

Required qualifications

• Must have an active Secret clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant business or technical field
• Agile certification, Project Management Professional (PMP), or an equivalent credential
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in business systems analysis or related IT functions
