Lead Category Management - Engineering Software

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead, Category Management (Engineering Software).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations with suppliers to maximize organizational benefits
• Drive cost savings through strategic sourcing and supplier management
• Develop and execute category strategies for Engineering Software

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience in Category Management/Supply Chain/Procurement, or a Graduate degree with 7 years of experience, or 13 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
• Relevant experience in Category Management and Strategic Sourcing in IT Software or similar categories
• Experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry is preferred
• Self-motivated with strong interpersonal and planning skills
• Institute of Supply Management (ISM) certification or equivalent is preferred
