Job Summary
Overseeing the strategy and procurement for network construction services, the full-time Lead Category Manager will manage complex supplier relationships, analyze market trends, and develop contracting strategies in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct internal and external category analysis, tracking market dynamics and supplier performance
- Develop and implement category strategy plans that align with business objectives and drive savings through negotiations and RFPs
- Manage high-complexity contracts and maintain primary relationships with suppliers, ensuring performance and continuous improvement
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience in procurement and supplier management
- Proven experience in negotiating high-complexity contracts in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of procurement systems such as SAP and Ariba
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
