Lead Chargemaster Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Lead Charge Description Master Specialist - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the Chargemaster maintenance workflow and manage Deployment/Growth projects
- Designate and delegate work assignments to team members and monitor their processes and progress
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding Chargemaster issues and implement improvements and solutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Epic Certification in Hospital Chargemaster required upon hire
- 7 years of experience in Hospital Chargemaster, including billing requirements and Medicare reimbursement methodology
- 5 years of experience with Epic Hospital EMR related to Chargemaster
- 4 years of operational performance improvement and/or project management experience
