Lead Chargemaster Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Lead Charge Description Master Specialist who will coordinate the Chargemaster maintenance workflow and oversee project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate CDM maintenance workflow and manage deployment/growth projects
- Designate work assignments to team members and monitor their progress
- Respond to inquiries regarding Chargemaster issues and implement improvements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Epic Certification in Hospital Chargemaster upon hire
- 7 years of experience in Hospital Chargemaster, including billing requirements and Medicare reimbursement methodology
- 5 years of experience with Epic Hospital EMR related to Chargemaster
- 4 years of operational performance improvement and/or project management experience
