Job Summary

Leading clinical informatics support for VA facilities, the full-time Lead Clinical Informatics Specialist will oversee the transition from VistA/CPRS to Oracle Health/Cerner, mentor informatics teams, and ensure effective clinical operations through data analysis and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead clinical informatics support for EHR transition activities, including planning and post-transition support
• Supervise and mentor Health Informatics Specialists and Clinical Application Coordinators
• Analyze clinical information system issues and provide expert support for VistA/CPRS and related applications

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health informatics, healthcare administration, nursing, information systems, public health, or related field
• 8+ years of clinical informatics or EHR support experience; 15+ years preferred
• Hands-on experience with VistA/CPRS and VA clinical applications
• Experience leading clinical process evaluations and EHR implementations
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
