Lead Clinical Research Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Clinical Research Associate to oversee and manage clinical trial sites in ophthalmology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site management activities, including selection, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits
• Serve as the primary contact for clinical sites, addressing queries and resolving issues
• Ensure data integrity through source data verification and monitoring for protocol deviations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, nursing, pharmacy, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Extensive experience as a Clinical Research Associate in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO industry
• In-depth knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical trial processes
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills to effectively manage CRAs and site staff
• Proactive approach to managing site performance and resolving issues
