Lead Cloud Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a Lead Cloud Architect for a full-time remote position, this role involves evolving the Azure cloud platform by architecting secure environments, enhancing Infrastructure-as-Code practices, and driving Site Reliability Engineering initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and refine Azure Landing Zone architectures to enhance security, compliance, and multi-tenant isolation
• Collaborate on reusable Infrastructure-as-Code modules and CI/CD templates to empower application and domain teams
• Drive Site Reliability Engineering practices, defining SLOs/SLIs and supporting production issue resolution

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in cloud engineering, with 5+ years in Azure architecture/SRE and hands-on experience in production-scale environments
• Proficient in Azure services, including Landing Zones, AKS, and IaaS/PaaS/SaaS management
• Mastery of Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD tools, including Bicep, ARM, Terraform, and Azure DevOps
• Experience with Site Reliability Engineering concepts, observability tools, and automation strategies
• Strong background in security practices, including Azure Defender and IAM frameworks
