Lead Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Leading hands-on cloud implementation and technical ownership, the full-time Lead Cloud Engineer will deliver secure, scalable, and reliable cloud environments while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and operationalization of cloud solutions, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery throughout the project lifecycle
• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across networking, compute, storage, identity, and platform services
• Establish and enforce a strong cloud security posture through the implementation of cloud-native security services and access controls

Required qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, including compute, storage, databases, and Kubernetes
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, platform architecture, or related technical disciplines
• Proven experience designing and operationalizing scalable cloud environments for enterprise applications
• Hands-on experience implementing cloud-native security controls and governance frameworks
• Significant experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and CI/CD practices
