Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure the stability and security of the Federal region's cloud platform, the full-time Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will manage infrastructure operations focusing on performance optimization, incident response, and maintaining a FedRAMP-compliant environment while collaborating with software engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineering teams to enhance the reliability and security of the infrastructure
• Design and scale AI/ML infrastructure across cloud platforms, ensuring high reliability and performance
• Implement monitoring and observability best practices while leading incident response and performance tuning efforts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years in SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering, MLOps, or Cloud Infrastructure roles
• 4+ years of production experience with Kubernetes and containerization tools like Docker
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in additional scripting languages
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
