Lead Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely as a full-time Lead Cloud Platform Engineer, the successful candidate will architect and manage enterprise Kubernetes infrastructure, champion automation, and implement resource optimization strategies to enhance service performance and efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect, manage, and scale enterprise Kubernetes infrastructure (EKS/GKE) for high availability and performance
• Oversee automated continuous platform optimization to eliminate manual tuning and enhance resource management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable cost avoidance and align technical objectives with business goals

Required qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or SRE managing Kubernetes at enterprise scale
• Hands-on experience with intelligent resource automation platforms and automated scaling tools
• Strong understanding of FinOps principles and experience in cost avoidance strategies
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
• Deep expertise in AWS/GCP cloud services and containerization technologies
