Job Summary
Leading high-voltage commissioning and service activities, the full-time Lead Commissioning & Services Technician will support offshore wind turbine generator systems and associated electrical equipment while working remotely on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation.
Key responsibilities
- Lead HV commissioning and service activities across Wind Turbine Generators
- Carry out testing, switching, fault finding, maintenance, and repair on HV, MV & LV equipment
- Guide technicians in the field to ensure safe execution and adherence to technical standards
Required qualifications
- Recognized electrical qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent vocational training
- Strong hands-on experience with HV, MV & LV electrical systems in wind energy or a similar industrial environment
- Experience in commissioning, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, switching, or repair
- Knowledge of HV systems above 1000V AC / 1500V DC, including isolation, testing, and maintenance
- Ability to pass GWO (Global Wind Offshore Certification)
