Job Summary

Seeking a fully remote Lead Consultant, Media Management, who will be responsible for crisis and issues communications across the western U.S., focusing on proactive media engagement and reputation management for large organizations.

Key responsibilities:

• Build relationships with state teams to advise on media strategy and prepare for newsworthy events
• Develop crisis communication preparedness plans and enhance reputation threat detection systems
• Lead the execution of communication plans during major catastrophes and ensure accurate media reporting

Required qualifications:

• 5 or more years of experience in media and issues management
• Proven expertise in crisis communication and proactive media engagement
• Strong understanding of local media landscapes and relationship-building skills
• Experience in developing communication strategies for complex issues
• Familiarity with media monitoring tools and digital platforms
