Lead Consultant - Threat Response
Job Summary
To support a growing cybersecurity function, the fully remote Lead Consultant - Threat Response will analyze exposure signals across enterprise compute platforms, identify and prioritize risks, and partner with engineering teams to enhance security measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze exposure signals and translate them into exploitable exposure hypotheses
- Identify systemic risks and validate remediation effectiveness across servers, containers, and Kubernetes platforms
- Prioritize work based on exploitability and business impact, providing clear remediation guidance
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in security engineering, infrastructure engineering, or vulnerability/exposure management
- Hands-on knowledge of server/OS hardening, virtualization, and container/Kubernetes fundamentals
- Ability to interpret technical telemetry and translate it into actionable risk decisions
