Lead Content Developer
Job Summary
Leading a project team in the development of high-quality English language content for the Secondary portfolio, the full-time remote Lead Content Developer will collaborate with various stakeholders to meet educational objectives, manage freelance contributors, and ensure timely project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with Learning Designers and senior management to build programs that address course learning objectives
- Identify, hire, and manage freelance authors and editorial vendors in partnership with Operations
- Develop project plans, including workflows, budgets, and schedules, while communicating progress to team members and senior managers
Required qualifications
- BA/BS/CELTA degree
- 8-10 years of experience in educational publishing or equivalent teaching experience in English Language Learning (ELL)
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling
- Deep understanding of language learning pedagogy
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects
