Lead Controls Engineer

Job Summary

Managing the design and execution of high voltage and HVDC substations, the full-time Lead Controls Engineer will ensure project reliability, efficiency, and compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams and overseeing engineering documentation remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design high voltage and HVDC substations, ensuring adherence to industry standards and customer specifications
• Collaborate with engineers to support project documentation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage execution progress and coordinate delivery of engineering documentation for procurement and manufacturing

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited university
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in HV substations, Power Generation, or Oil & Gas industry
• Familiarity with project technical management processes in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Fluency in English
• Willingness to travel worldwide for short to medium periods
