Lead Cost Accountant

Job Summary

To support accurate inventory management, the full-time Lead Cost Accountant will perform cost analysis, oversee cost accounting functions across multiple sites, and lead cost reduction projects while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support cost accounting functions for multiple sites, including overseeing at least one direct report
• Conduct analysis of costs, identify opportunities for savings, and lead cost reduction initiatives
• Participate in inventory control efforts, including tracking scrap and obsolete inventories and resolving discrepancies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 8 years of experience in cost accounting
• SAP experience preferred
