Job Summary
Leading the execution of security assessments, the full-time Lead Cybersecurity Assessor will develop and validate SCSEMs and automated evaluation files while performing hands-on system configuration checks in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and validate SCSEMs and automated evaluation files, ensuring alignment with CIS Benchmarks, DISA STIGs, and NIST controls
- Lead hands-on system configuration checks and compliance scanning, performing corrective actions for identified issues
- Maintain configuration instructions and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and applying cybersecurity requirements within government organizations
- Hands-on experience in implementing security controls and vulnerability management
- Experience in securing configurations and authoring or tailoring SCSEM/STIG/CIS/Nessus content
- High School Diploma or higher
- One or more relevant cybersecurity certifications or completion of a minimum 2-year IT/Cybersecurity program
