Lead Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to enhance proactive defense strategies and improve security posture in a remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cybersecurity and access management solutions to protect systems and data
• Lead optimization of cybersecurity initiatives and collaborate with IT and business units on access control processes
• Support external audits and regulatory assessments, including penetration testing

Required Qualifications

• Must be clearable to SECRET clearance level
• 10+ years of experience in implementing and supporting cybersecurity programs
• Strong understanding of IT systems, network infrastructure, and data architecture
• Experience with NIST 800-171, CMMC, or similar cybersecurity frameworks
• 2+ years of experience in Threat Detection, Incident Response, or Identity and Access Management solutions
